Before starting out your journey, please read the "Adopting a Cat" page to know more about our approach to assure that all our cats will be placed in the best possible homes and will enjoy happy, healthy lives.
We do everything possible to assure the health and temperament of our cats, but they are of course subject to the range of normal feline ailments. As we believe full disclosure is essential for responsible breeders, any "special needs" are noted. These can range from simple idiosyncrasies to special health requirements. Any special needs noted on this page are what I consider to be minor issues that are easy to deal with (for example, requiring a special food).
One general note: I attempt to describe the personalities of the cats as they are here in our multi-cat household. They may be a bit different in new surroundings, i.e. a shy cat may become more affectionate, a loving cat a bit more independent or vice versa, etc. As always when dealing with living creatures - you just never know!
Straight-eared Curls are always a great consideration. They're beautiful cats - so beautiful that I've actually had people looking for a straight-ear over a curl ear. You still get that silky coat and great personality, along with a stunning cat (can you tell I have a soft spot for straight-ears?). Another bonus is that breeders tend to ask a significantly lower price for these babies.
I don't like to quote prices on my site, because they can vary. However, I will say that by the time kittens leave here at 4 months, all major expenses have been paid for by us. This includes at least 3 trips to the vet for shots and full exams and one trip for their spay or neuter. Some breeders give their own shots, but we prefer our vet to do so as the kittens are fully checked over several times that way.
Whenever you're looking for a pedigreed cat - whether a Curl or any other breed - always take this into consideration. You may think you got a "good deal" by paying relatively little for an unvaccinated, unspayed or neutered purebred , but never forget to factor in the outstanding vet care, which can add up to hundreds of dollars. We feel that as reputable breeders, we should take care of all of these services prior to selling kittens and we do so.
Sarcenet Bryan
Bryan - born in Dec 05 - is a beautiful young neutered blue tabby boy with the sweetest face you've ever seen. Long and slender,
he's a very attractive cat and Shiloh's brother.
"Bry" is a very sweet, loving boy who totally enjoys his attention. He LOVES his brushing and will lay there for the longest time, purring
and making biscuits. He's a bit shy around strangers, but very sociable and "dog-like" with
people once he gets to know them. Actually, he's getting increasingly sociable as he matures and has turned into a wonderful young cat.
I'd love to place him with his brother, but it's not mandatory. I think Bry would be happiest with a relatively quiet home with no other pets.
If you'd like more information on him,
please email me.

Sarcenet Silent Sapphire
Sapphire is truly one of the sweetest cats I've ever known! She's a bit shy around new people,
but once she gets to know you she doesn't stay out of your lap. She's a TOTAL lap cat who
will lie there for hours purring and making biscuits. When it's too hot for lap-sitting, she
curls up on the back of the sofa, always near her people. She's also very pretty if I do say so myself :-)
I'd prefer
to place her relatively locally, but will consider options. Sapphire would be happiest in a quiet home as the only pet.
If you'd like more information on her,
please email me.
