This cat displays a nice modified wedge head, ear size and curl flow from the wedge of the face. The flat coat accentuates the head and the ears rather than detracting from the structure. This cat reminds us that the early American Curl breeders considered the Turkish Angora as their only out-cross breed. They chose not to use Angoras because of the dominance of the white color and at the time temperament was a concern. However the structure which they wanted to emulate is still desired. Now, the only approved out-cross is a domestic cat of no particular breeding either long hair or short hair.
